Elios Special Demo for Holcim Cement Plant

We did a special demo for Holcim Cement Plant this week, as we were accompanied by Niels Delore, Managing Director for Asia Pacific at Flyability.

We conducted a demonstration flight using the Elios 3 drone over Holcim’s stockpile to showcase its advanced capabilities. This demo particularly highlighted Elios 3’s proficiency in providing accurate volumetric measurements, leveraging its enhanced lidar and imaging systems.

Used along with CloudCompare for precise volume calculation, the demonstration effectively showcased Elios 3’s ability to provide accurate volumetric measurements with ease. The use of Elios 3 and the data processing app CloudCompare proved to be better and faster compared exceeded those of existing methods. This fast processing time further underscored the drone’s and CloudCompare’s advanced capabilities.
