Our partner from Flowtronic – Belgium recently visited our HQ for product training and hands-on technical training.
Our Raveneye Open Channel Demonstration Rig proved helpful in the said training, as this is a controlled environment but with fully operational Raveneye flowmeter, IFQ Monitor, and pump/VFD.

For large canals, most especially rivers, the flowmeter for this purpose is the PHOENIX non-contact RADAR area/velocity flowmeter. It operates and has same principle with Raveneye open channel flow meter, but the Phoenix offer more range in the channel width and the height of installation (usually under a bridge).
Aside from rivers, other applications are canals, large irrigation, stream monitoring, in water management, flood prevention or monitoring, hydropower plants, rain basin modeling, large wastewater channels and more.

Last week, we were with our partner and flow expert of Flowtronic for product presentations and consultations with our clients. This, after we did a one day product re-introduction and hands-on training in our HQ.
