DWYER SERIES UFB ULTRASONIC FLOWMETER SET is a compact, lightweight, non-invasive pipe flow measurement that is easy to install and easy to configuree. The series comes in 3 different models:

  • UFB-122 – Complete Ultrasonic flowmeter set, pipe size range 0.5 to 4.5″ (13 to 115 mm), 86 to 264 VAC power supply.
  • UFB-222 – Complete Ultrasonic flowmeter set, pipe size range 0.5 to 4.5″ (13 to 115 mm), 24 VAC/VDC power supply.
  • UFB-223 – Complete Ultrasonic flowmeter set, pipe size range 2 to 79″ (50 to 2000 mm), 24 VAC/VDC power supply.

The Series UFB Ultrasonic Flowmeter Set utilizes the transit-time difference for measuring flow rates in pipes non-invasively. This is the permanent model, allowing the user to mount the converter on a surface or pipe. This UFB Series is intended for mechanical devices using ideally homogeneous liquids that contain no air pockets. The Series UFB comes with a sturdy IP65 rating, protecting it from dust and direct water contact. The Series UFB has 4 to 20 mA and pulse output capabilities.

Two sensors are placed on the exterior of the pipe, and each transmits an ultrasonic pulse through the pipe and fluid to the other. The velocity of the liquid flowing through the pipes causes the pulse to accelerate or decelerate. The difference in the transit times of the two pulses is used to calculate the flow rate. The use of transit time allows the flowmeter to be unaffected by pressure or temperature changes. This can be bought with calibration certificate, sold separately.

With absolutely water-tight resin-sealed cable entries, this seal prevent any water from entering the motor – even in the event of a damaged cable. The KRT series has sensors monitoring the motor temperature that prevents overheating and leakage sensors signaling any ingress of moisture into the motor ensuring reliable operation. Features a non-clogging low-maintenance design with large free passages reduces clogging risk and, consequently, maintenance work. High-efficiency motors and variable hydraulic systems are used for optimum hydraulic efficiency and energy efficiency. Dwyer Series RSME Room Status Monitor is designed for low differential pressure applications that require stringent pressure monitoring and alarming. It can be configured to monitor positive or negative pressure in clean rooms, hospital isolation rooms, laboratories, and vivariums.

The RSME is a complete system with a touchscreen graphical user interface which enables access to pressure, humidity, temperature, air change, security, door status, calibration, and alarm setup. The graphical display color changes allow a clear determination of when the parameters are operating within the acceptable range (green), caution range (yellow), or have gone outside the acceptable operating range (red). The RSME room status monitor comes standard with BACnet MS/TP and Modbus® RTU communications. Each RSME includes a factory calibration certificate.

Dwyer offers Series MSX Pro Magnesense® Differential Pressure Transmitter, which meets stringent industry standards with innovative global product design. This series is ideal for monitoring building control applications, and also utilizes enhanced accuracy and stability for use in high performance, critical environments.

The simplified model selection reduces product setup time, and the internal DIP switches allow for easy field adjustment. All pressure ranges can be configured in unidirectional or bidirectional modes, providing a total of 32 ranges. In addition, units can be ordered in wall mount, DIN mount, or in a universal wall/duct mount.

These units can provide a linear pressure output or a linear velocity output with the square root extraction from the transmitter. Additional parameters have been included to expand the square root capability to calculate flow, both velocity flow and volumetric flow.

The dual voltage and milliamp output signals can be used to provide control and equipment output signal verification. Both the Series MSX and Series MSX Pro can be used to notify both a local alarm and control system using the dual output signals. The MSX transmitters are used for controlling VFD driven air supply in the HVAC system or to monitor pressure drop in filters.

The toolless terminal block allows for effortless installation, and the built-in wiring guide further simplifies the process. Each model features a tamper-proof cover to prevent unauthorized changes from being made, as well as a password-protected menu structure.
