Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gage For Cagayan Valley Medical Center

Posted on

BRAAMD Inc. recently installed Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gage in Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

As the world continues its fight against COVID, Dwyer and BRAAMD Inc. are fully committed in aiding the fight against it. Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gages are suitable for hospitals, laboratories, clinics, containment chambers – for positive or negative pressure rooms.

A room at negative pressure has a lower pressure than that of adjacent rooms. This keeps air from flowing out of this room and into next room. For the positive room, the room with higher air pressure, this type prevents air transmission from the outside environment to the positive room.

For this particular installation, we installed these Magnehelic Gauges in Specimen Handling Rooms, PCR room, Reagent Preparation Room and all are permanent installations. This can also be installed in temporary facilities as this particular model operates mechanically and requires no power supply.

Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gage in Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Tuguegarao, Cagayan.

There is a differential pressure gage that run on battery power, The Series DM-1000 DigiMag® Digital Differential Pressure and Flow Gage. This is digital version of the Magnehelic® gage. If battery power is not desired, the DM-1000 also works with a 9-24 VDC input signal. These gages are popular in hospitals, and have a high resolution, easy-to-read LCD display.

Other digital units such as Series DH3 Digihelic® Differential Pressure Controller or Series MS2 Magnesense® II Differential Pressure Transmitter can be used to tie into these applications and connect to a building automation system via 4-20 mA output signals. This can be a critical advantage for hospitals trying to monitor multiple rooms during this pandemic.

If your health institution or your projects need these, contact us please and we will give you the best solution for your your requirements.

Mining Inspection Using Elios 2 Industrial Drone

Posted on

Industrial drones changed the game for both underground and aboveground exploration and inspection. Enabling unprecedented access within no-go-zones. Mines are very hostile environments for humans and mining companies are turning to technology to be able to inspect and explore without exposing workers to hazards underground and in the riskiest operations.

And one industrial drone for these applications is the Elios 2 Inspection Drone. Elios 2 is about “Accessing the Inaccessible.” Using the Elios 2 drone and the data gathered, mining companies are able to increase productivity, have safer working environments, plan better, make the best decisions and more.
Elios 2 inspections for mining applications not only happen underground. In fact, over half of the applications for mining inspections happen above ground. Some examples of where we can take full advantage of the Elios 2 inspection capabilities:

Above Ground Inspections.

Conveyor Belt Inspection

Crusher – Perform visual inspection of crushers using Elios 2 drone.

Conveyor Belt – Assess the integrity of the conveyor belts without disturbing the operation or interrupting production downstream.

Sag, Ball, and Grinding Mill – Get inside the sag, ball, and grinding mill to check integrity and detect blockage without stopping the entire muck circuit.

Heavy Equipment – Check heavy equipment, such as shovels, haul trucks, and loaders for damage or wear.

Stockpile Feeder – Collect visuals of feeders by flying through the stockpile hole to assess their integrity, plan for their maintenance without having to put humans at risk.

Other Above Ground inspections: Ore bins, Mills, Chute, Tanks & Storage, Stacks, Ore bins.

Underground Inspections.

Drop Raise Inspection

Ore Passes/Drop Raise – Fly tens of meters up a dusty, wet and rocky drop raise in an underground mine to locate blockage or assess potential for rehabilitation areas.

Open Stope – Explore restricted areas such as excavated open stopes to support backfilling operations by detecting shadow areas, create photogrammetric models to map fractures in the rocks and other geo-features to understand if a fall or fail of ground will cause injuries, damage equipment, or dilute ore.

Other Underground Inspections – Shafts and raises, Ground support, Pass blockage, Crusher Inspection, Assess fill fence before backfilling.

Done with an online demo of Elios Industrial Inspection Drone!

If you’ll do it, might as well do it with fun!

Ten take aways from the online demo…

  1. Arming – It takes less than a minute to arm the drone so it is ready for quick deployment. Same with the battery replacement, it also takes a minute to change the battery and so you’ll be ready for your next mission quickly.
  2. Intelligent Sensors – This drone has 14 intelligent sensors that make this drone stable and able to produce stable and clear videos. That makes this drone so easy to fly.
  3. Collision Tolerant – This is drone is collision tolerant, that makes this drone the best industrial inspection drone. Despite the collision, drone is able to maintain stability, its flight, its recording and inspection.
  4. Lighting System – This drone has the most advanced lighting system for a commercial drone. It has a powerful 10k lumens lighting system, for different options and functions, for different use cases and environment. This ensures that everything is inspected and sufficiently illuminated. Some of the features are dust proof lighting, close up lighting and  and oblique lighting. The oblique lighting system is perfect for inspecting pitting, cracks, cavities and defects. Using angled lighting, you will see more detail, more texture on inspected assets.
  5. Distance Lock – Another great feature of this drone is the distance lock. Sample uses of distance lock are inspecting a single line of weld, even a whole length of pipeline, and more.
  6. Thermal Camera – Thermal camera allows you to inspect steam leakage and also can help the pilot navigate their way out of certain vessel, tunnels or locations.
  7. High Resolution Camera and Live View – The video recording is recorded in 4k high resolution, this is like an inspector standing right in front of the object. And to add, the live view, the live video feedback in the tablet is also high definition, it feels like you are there near the object being inspected. Therefore, you can also get vital inspection information while doing the live inspection.
  8. Disarm Sequence – Disarming takes a few seconds. Also, replacing the battery and arming it again for the next inspection takes only a minute.
  9. In the purchase of this drone, it includes free training by our certified pilots. All these features and more, we will be able to teach the end-users pilots.
  10. We will be more than willing to do live demo in your plant. Please contact us to schedule this if you would like us to show more of its capabilities and features.

Onto the next one.
