Controllers Used in the Packaging of Condiments

Packaging of condiments require the sealing bars to be heated to a temperature hot enough to seal the packages, but not destroy the packaging material. The heat on the sealing bars needs to be controlled to ensure the heat does not become excessive. Temperature controllers (like Dwyer SERIES 4B 1/4 DIN TEMPERATURE/PROCESS CONTROLLER) are used in this process to accurately control the heat on the sealing bars. The sensors from the controllers are placed on the sealing bars to ensure accurate temperature readings. Should the heat become excessive, an alarm light on the controller notifies the operator of the impending conditions.
