BRAAMD Inc. recently installed Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gage in Cagayan Valley Medical Center, Tuguegarao, Cagayan.
As the world continues its fight against COVID, Dwyer and BRAAMD Inc. are fully committed in aiding the fight against it. Dwyer Series 2000 Magnehelic® Differential Pressure Gages are suitable for hospitals, laboratories, clinics, containment chambers – for positive or negative pressure rooms.
A room at negative pressure has a lower pressure than that of adjacent rooms. This keeps air from flowing out of this room and into next room. For the positive room, the room with higher air pressure, this type prevents air transmission from the outside environment to the positive room.
For this particular installation, we installed these Magnehelic Gauges in Specimen Handling Rooms, PCR room, Reagent Preparation Room and all are permanent installations. This can also be installed in temporary facilities as this particular model operates mechanically and requires no power supply.
There is a differential pressure gage that run on battery power, The Series DM-1000 DigiMag® Digital Differential Pressure and Flow Gage. This is digital version of the Magnehelic® gage. If battery power is not desired, the DM-1000 also works with a 9-24 VDC input signal. These gages are popular in hospitals, and have a high resolution, easy-to-read LCD display.
Other digital units such as Series DH3 Digihelic® Differential Pressure Controller or Series MS2 Magnesense® II Differential Pressure Transmitter can be used to tie into these applications and connect to a building automation system via 4-20 mA output signals. This can be a critical advantage for hospitals trying to monitor multiple rooms during this pandemic.
